So Many Smart Cars!

We were going to the ferry on our way the the ropescourse and saw a whole street full of smart cars...just chillin there! I have never seen so many in my whole life! We don't know why they were there either. I guess it was a smart car party!
In the picture, each car in the huge group is a Smart.
Also, once we were on the ferry, another ferry floated by...full of smart cars! hahaa It was the coolest thing I have ever seen!

Rope Course!

Yesterday, Teresa and her friend, Jana, took Maddy and me to a ropes course. We were playing on lots of different obstacles...30 feet in the air!! It was so much fun! They had a super fancy harness thing where once you started the course...you were always strapped on to something until you finished. No backing out! hahaa I didn't want to be hanging that high with my camera, so I sadly don't having any pictures of me or my friends.

In Konstanz!

We made it! After two planes, a bus, and a ferry, I am finally here! On the plane, I got to sit next to one of my best friends (we traded seats to make that work), so I feel bad for anyone sitting near us!! :D We were talking and laughing the entire 11 hour flight! Then we had another plane...much smaller than the first. Here, our whole group was sitting in the same area...except me! I was 4 or 5 rows behind all them...sitting alone! haha I used this time for some homework- the last thing I want to do on my trip. Then we had a bus to the ferry and got to see a lot of the city. On the ferry, we got to see just how huge Lake Konstanz really is. It was freezing and windy (as you can see in the picture..we were all shivering). We all reached the other side without frostbite and were met by our host families. When we got back to our new homes, I think all of us went to sleep. Even though it was about 4 o'clock! Jet lag took over us all!

Time for the Trip!!

I did not start packing until after noon today... and I leave tomorrow!!
After a day full of folding clothes, cleaning my room, last minute shopping, and lots of good-byes--- I am ready to go!!
I am so excited for this trip! I will be in Konstanz, Germany, for three weeks through the exchange program at my school. I get to stay with Teresa, who stayed with me this past Fall. I will be living on what used to be called "Vegetable Island" (hence the name of my blog). I can't wait to see some castles, the amazing lake, and monkey mountain!! hahahaa :]
I will try to update my blog whenever I get the chance to keep you all updated on my adventure!
